"The Fun"
My teacher asked me today, "What do you remember about your childhood? What was your favourite thing to do?"
Living a busy day to day life, with college, work and continuous study, it's sometimes hard to fit in 'The Fun'.
So today, I just stopped and thought.
I thought about the time I first ate marsh-mellows over a camp fire with my family at night. Listening to music of my little portable radio whilst looking up at the stars and moon. Feeling the warmth of the Australian summer night.
Laughing as my big brother burnt his marsh-mellows EVERY time.
I remember the greedy kookaburra who stole my sausage sandwich, guzzling it down whilst flapping it's wings as it tried to balance on the dodgy green table beside my chair.
I remember the sound of the rain and thunder as it pattered and crashed outside as I hide inside my tent in the late afternoon storm.
To me it was an enriching experience.
To me, being about to explore the world around me, to be with my family as i explored the beautiful terrain and be able to laugh at the things I see and witness with my own eyes is a treasure I hold dear to my heart.
So yes, my life may be busy, but i can still have time for 'fun'.
Here is a little bit of beauty I have found in today's adventures...
